Hi! So I worked at Aesop for 2.5 years in Australia where the brand is from. In complete honesty I would not recommend Aesop as a starting place to build your skincare routine. The skincare range has a lot of essential oils, that unless your skin is quite robust, can be irritants to the skin. I am of the opinion that there are other brands that are more effective and well priced to get your skincare from. If you are going to buy from Aesop, I would highly recommend their home, fragrance and body care ranges. Some skincare brands at a similar price point with more effective products are:  - Dr.Dennis Gross  - Elemis  - Emma Lewisham - Moon Juice

If you told me I could only have one fancy skincare product it would be this one. Have you tried putting on moisturizer while your skin is super dry? Yeah it sucks. Not only does this toner have tons of Vitamin B and antioxidants, it preps your skin for moisturizer, allowing it to actually soak into your skin, instead of laying on the surface. This is one of those products where if I stop using it, there is a noticeable difference in the texture of my skin. I’m biased towards Aēsop (which you can hear more about on my first podcast episode hehe), but they truly make lovely products!

I can't vouch for their advanced climate control line personally (I use their vitacurl conditioner and gel which works very well for me) but it's easily their most popular line so that might be worth checking out for you. Ouidad's pretty pricey ngl but they do online sales pretty frequently.

Everybody has a secret is just so funny and silly. Great for when you want some tea split that has absolutely nothing to do with you. Grave Matters is such a unique podcast. Discussing all things to do with death and dying. for example did you know there is something called a death doula?! I didn’t. A really interesting, impactful and beautiful way to learn about something we will all experience/go through.

A really unique perspective on the fluidity of pain (primarily in relation to chronic illness) and navigating the shifting mindset to cope with the pain. Also a really interesting take on “friends for certain activities” - a friend you go to gigs with vs the friend you go for a morning jog with. How these friendships change us. A fantastic quick read!

I like to mix up my vibe day to day - my current rotation has been the above three. Could be light and fresh with Jo Malone one day. Could be floral and musky with Glossier the next. Could be woody and spicy with Aesop the following day.
