If you lived through the pandemic and also had a crippling tiktok addiction, you've probably tried dalgona coffee. I recently got back into it after running out of fresh beans and boy oh boy, this shit still hits!!! it's so simple. so easy. soooo good. recipe: • 2 tbsp of instant coffee // I use trader joes, but there are better • 2 tbsp of brown sugar // any granulated sugar will do • 2 tbsp of hot water // I do 190° • whip/wisk/fluff/destroy till it becomes a fluffy caramel-to-first tan of summer gold spoon it on top of milk of choice and bam! enjoy <3

☕Remember Dalgona coffee? That thing everyone was making during the lockdown? I’ve never actually tried it but I have this idea that a Dalgona Affogato would be a lot of fun. Like good vanilla gelato with a whipped coffee topping 🤤

Brown sugar, instant espresso, milk, ice, optional vanilla extract and cinnamon. you also need a jar with a lid, so save one next Time you use a glass jar —> boil some water, while it’s boiling put 2 Tbsp of instant espresso and at least as much brown sugar into your jar —> pour enough water to dissolve (less than 1 espresso shot of liquid — your ice will add volume) and stir well —> add ice and shake it around until it’s cold —> fill the rest of the jar (leaving room for more ice) with milk and top with a splash of vanillla and a sprinkle of cinnamon, then put on the lid and SHAKE THAT FUCKER LIKE NOTHING MATTERS —> fill the rest of the way with ice and enjoy :-)
