i already knew paper cranes by heart but now i can do butterflies by memory too… these are like 1x1 and i’m going to try to do a few hundred of them to put on my wall
Acquire pretty paper, enjoy the process of folding them- and then the trick is to get a golden thread on a sewing needle and string it through the body, using a loop to maintain the right distance between the cranes. It’s a delicate but worthwhile endeavor
dystopian/post-apoc easy read! I don’t read a ton of books in that genre, but found it really compelling or Bliss Montage, also by Ling Ma, is a great short stories collection. sometimes short stories are the best way for me to break out of a reading slump 🤌
