Bust out the measuring tape and find a container/bin/trashcan/box to fit in a space. Just did this for the space under my dining nook bench. Not not sexual
Put big furniture in small spaces! What used to house one small credenza, a small bar cart, and some floor speakers now does it all with one looooong credenza (except it’s two of the same just smooshed together 🤫). Reduces visual clutter and makes the space feel bigger :).
under bed storage, coffee table with drawers, a dedicated stuff closet, shelves just for organizing (I like an ikea kallax with those little fold out storage bins). squeeze use out of every square inch of shelf, closet, and drawer space, get stuff out of sight and out of mind. only super hack I can provide is that you can stuff poufs with blankets, jackets, old tees, and pillows and get a nice ottoman too
I love it, even with the repetition and exhaustion. Unexpected benefit: losing sense of time. Every task, from feeding to putting her to sleep, takes as long as it takes. I’m not trying to control time or “be productive” in the same way I did pre-baby.
