💘i see really cool/ funny/ smart people and 90% of the time they just follow me back straight away. it’s one of the joys of not having a big following — you can make more friends with strangers! i think the art of that is lost with influencer culture, because why would you follow a ‘fan’ back straight away (particularly when you have 50k plus of them?) also i’m a ‘rising user’ after posting like 6 times which gives me a huge ego boost. 🌬it basically means “i’m here already, i might as well be at peace with it”
started truly believing in it a few years ago when i first moved to nashville. there are a lot of things i don’t like about my life, down to daily tasks like having to wait for a bus despite being an impatient person, up to not being proud of my own family dynamic, but i'm learning to make peace with it—this is the one life i’m gonna have, and some things i just can’t change, whether that’s for now or for a long while
