mind blown how i haven't heard of this band any sooner. their new album is fantastic -- a stripped-down bizarre experience with so many sticky moments. hoping to see them live at some point

Saw them in Chicago last night I missed their first show here last year, really didn’t think the vocals would be able to hold up as well as they sound on the album but wow was I blown away. This trio from glasgow play off each other so well i just love love everything about them check em out. also discovered local duo easygoingtech with a stark contrast opening hardcore electronic set, definitely want more, one of them was tearing up an electron octatrack ughh I want one

Gotta love when a band actually pushes the sonic boundaries of rock music and makes something truly unique. Similar to Captain Beefheart and This Heat in ethos but not really in sound. I’m all over it.

was way late to the game with this band. they really blend all my fav 90s brit sounds. bit of lush vibe with the reverb and 12 string, stone roses edge, oasis/early radiohead anthemic level rock. i’m not usually a “best of” guy, but their greatest hits is a perfect front to back listen.

woke up this morning to my article live on the front page of a local magazine i've read for so many years... feels like a full-circle moment
i already have plenty of articles out on college publications, but this hits so much different. i'm sure all journalists know the ecstatic feeling of having your article published for the first time, as i'm experiencing that joy right now. just overall very chipper this morning :)
