a great way to start integrating recipes in a low stress way and thinking creatively about food while relaxing 😌
I was reading *A Painter's Kitchen: Recipes from the Kitchen of Georgia O'Keeffe* before bed recently and it contains little anecdotes about O’Keeffe from her assistant at the time. In it she says that O’Keeffe would also read cookbooks before bed and that they’re “good company,” so I knew I was on the right track at least in this part of my life.
No screens just vibes
I like to play ambient tunes and not look at a single screen while I cook a feast for like two hours it feels so good after a long day
I made albondigas from the Rick martinez cookbook and rice from the Enrique Olvera cookbook and both were rly good btw
Not simple but when I do take the time to make these recipes they’re insanely unique and delicious. Also a great story, I don’t actually read the not cooking part of cook books much but I recommend this one.
sitting back on a couch with your cat on your tummy sitting like a little sphinx and you’re scratching their little cheeks and slow blinking at each other
App where you can enter in your own recipes or put in a webpage link and it cleans it up visually for you and you can increase or decrease servings per recipe and it automatically adjusts it all for you :)
