house (1977)

Went into this one knowing only that it was a popular japanese horror movie from the 70s. Was pleasantly surprised to then enjoy a camp-filled B-movie with a seven dwarves style ensemble cast ('Gorgeous' is the pretty one, 'Prof' is the smart one, 'Kung Fu' does kung fu, 'Mac' is obsessed with food). SPOILERS The house eats them all one by one in the name of an elegantly evil ghost/aunt in a wheelchair. Perfect film. There's also a cat named Blanche.

SPOOKY MOVIE 4 U: I recommend watching it sober the first time, then high the second time. Also recommend watching it without knowing much about it.

Mac Tonight

There's something about that 80's McDonalds mascot that makes me feel something. I don't know if it's the charming sets of the commercial, or the care that was put into advertising at the time, or just the character of Mac himself. I really wish they could recapture that same feeling but i think i can be okay with just admiring the past.
