house (1977)

Went into this one knowing only that it was a popular japanese horror movie from the 70s. Was pleasantly surprised to then enjoy a camp-filled B-movie with a seven dwarves style ensemble cast ('Gorgeous' is the pretty one, 'Prof' is the smart one, 'Kung Fu' does kung fu, 'Mac' is obsessed with food). SPOILERS The house eats them all one by one in the name of an elegantly evil ghost/aunt in a wheelchair. Perfect film. There's also a cat named Blanche.

It’s this really cool japanese horror that is super zany and you can tell they had a lot of fun making it. The director noted that a lot of movie came from ideas that his daughter had!

Running 2 a sweet treat

I ran a mile 2 a coffee shop. Walked back with an iced honey lavender latte and saw a very cool spider. The baristas were very nice. It's like a REWARD.
