I used to hate them, and maybe you hate them now, which is totally understandable. It’s in our evolution to fear that shape—a dark spot with radiating lines. It’s like a symbol of danger. But they are so fascinating and almost always harmless. Don’t go pick them up willy nilly or anything, but observe and be nice to them. I saw this one on a camping trip making a web in the middle of the night, across like a three foot span. They are craftsmen and incredible weavers. They’re super chill beings.

You could go the symbolic route and do some research on what spiders may represent and what kind of message they are bringing to you. Maybe then they will be satisfied… Personally, I think spiders are dope and see this as a positive sign. At least you know that they are killing all the other bugs!

a study issued last month found that dancing is the most effective way of treating and mitigating depression. Walking, therapy, and yoga also outpaced SSRIs. and if you're saying 'oh this was probably funded by Big Dance', there's no evidence of that and if you're saying 'that's just what a Big Dance shill would say', well honey you're right
