My last job was at a self-professed tech company, but almost the entirety of my team saw me as a tech wizard when I would do fairly simple tasks. Getting coworkers to understand how the systems we used worked was like pulling teeth.
My new job is with people that have the same or more tech experience than me and I am in HEAVEN.

I just had a week off work. I got to see the opening night of Ghost's world tour & hear new songs ten days before their album drops. I made a new friend on friday and we had a genuine connection and I haven't let my anxiety or obsessive tendencies (idk if thats quite the right word) spoil the vibes or make me spiral. I have felt good for the first time in a long time!!!
But I have to be at work tomorrow morning and that has honestly singlehandedly undone all of that healing lmao. It won't be that bad, probably. My job is... fine, usually. But the dread never goes away!

going to a friends dj set is the lamest shit you can do these days everyone thinks they’re way too cool and at 99% of the gigs no one is dancing or having a good time. cover bands are wayyyy more fun and you have a way better time. no one is taking it seriously, so much more work is involved and it’s way sicker to see live music than your friends play to an empty bar on a weeknight

I feel a little bit like a stuck up loser for recommending a relative to the masses obscure French film soundtrack but truly there is no more accessible vibe to the background of a casual day off around the house. Straight french vibe heroin to the bloodstream.
Cooking, cleaning, and I especially throw it on at the stuck up coffee shop I work at.
