For summer, I love to dwell in the grotesque. I love books that are so horrible and disgusting that I simply just cannot look away. One of my top recommendations for this genre is โa certain hungerโ by Chelsea Summers. This book follows a young woman, who is a food critic that absolutely loves her job. She has a taste for the finer dinning, is extremely analytical and smart. But aside from food Dorothy has a taste for something else; love, specifically a string of lovers. I find this book repulsive, and interesting because it intertwines themes of love and cannibalism and it explains how all consuming love can be sometimes.
Itโs punchy, exciting, little bit violent, very sexy. Will keep you GRIPPED and is compulsively readable. If not that, then โwe had to remove this postโ by hanna bervoets is perfect for getting out of a slump. itโs short and fascinating
My friend Liam got sent these by accident when he ordered vans and gave them to me since they sent him size 13. These shoes are goofy and I don't know who would buy them but I wear them all the time because I think they're really fun and have a lot of character.
