a tall glass of ice chilled (no cubes!) water
Then a matcha latte with vanilla oat milk and brown sugar
Maybe a croissant for a light airy crunch factor
Or a hot London fog with lavender & honey. With either a raspberry chipotle crepe, rice pudding, or a rosemary cheese bun. Not really a coffee drinker tbh
So cooling, so grassy, so awake, but not jittery. Is it the switch from a second coffee to matcha, these new vitamins, or the the impending spring that has me feeling slightly more alert? Who knows. I’ll credit the matcha and continue to enjoy my little treat.
Hold something soft while u cry. A pillow or a blanket or even a bunched up sweater.
Hugs aren’t always available and sometimes touch is too much but embracing an inanimate object, as gently or harshly as you need in that moment, can be really nice. U don’t have to think about if its too long of a hug, if ur arms are too tightly wound around, u get to be selfish in ur embrace so u really get what U need out of it.
