This is not a promotion; I just wanted to share it because I like it, and I don't have anyone to share it with. Do you think all modern aspiring designers are immersed in avant-garde forms and dark aesthetics? I thought so too, but Spooky Woods offers a worthy alternative. He specializes in sculpting various silhouettes from clay: both well-known characters and his own inventions. His work is insanely beautiful, lively, bright, and attractive. The aesthetic of his figures reminds games like Never Hood, or animations like Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, and others; and his fusion of vibrant, colorful identity with significant figures from hip-hop culture is sure to catch the eye of any fan. The artist's range includes unique t-shirts with prints of original, distinctive characters, clay figurines, skateboards, and much more. Everything looks unique, creatively played with, and executed to an impeccably high standard.

This isn’t me at all — not my typical design, not what I’m intro, and def not something I’d do just for fun. But…to reach a bigger audience of brands…it’s time to get a little whimsical. And he’s cute as hell. Who knew becoming a more well rounded illustrator could be so…adorable?

I just made some graphic design for someone who wanted a "laid back.deli.italiano.cartoonvibes" typa thing on a tshirt. To nestle into NOT PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES was surprisingly fulfilling.

I’ve been seeing the art formula of some type of western design + some type of quote blowing up online for months. I follow 5-6 artists that have made their living off of perfecting this. And every time I saw it I thought ā€œOh I could do that.ā€ But I never would because that’s not my usual style and I wouldn’t ever want to include that in my portfolio. You know, my super specific & super analyzed portfolio. And it just got me a few days ago — Why not just try it? And see what it’s like? What if I do it and not include it in my portfolio at all! What if it’s…just…for…fun??? — I stopped taking myself super seriously. So go and try the thing out. Maybe it’s for you, maybe not. But it might be a lot of fun. I know I loved making my little cowboy below.

The best advice I've found, especially as a perfectionist. As someone who always strives for flawlessness, I've realized this mindset can often hold me back. It's easy to get caught up in making everything just right, but that can lead to never finishing projects or, worse, never starting them. This advice reminds me to focus on completion rather than perfection. It's about making progress and not letting the fear of imperfection paralyze you. You can always refine and improve something once it exists, but you can't improve what you haven't created yet. It's about striking a balance between quality and actually getting things done

My grandpa once told me: "Live a worthy life. What makes a life worthy is something only you can define for yourself. So, live a life that feels meaningful to you, as long as it does not prevent others from living theirs. Don't let others define what a worthy life means for you. If for you, a worthy life means building a large family, build it; if it means earning a billion dollars, pursue that goal with all your might; if it means making as many memories as you can, go ahead; if it means being religious and praising God, do so. Live your worthy life and ignore anyone who tells you otherwise." I couldn't find this quote anywhere so I think it was his own wisdom. Rest in Peace grandpaā¤ļø
