I fucking love this thing. Tells you when to water, mist, fertilize, prune, and repot. My FAVORITE part is that it tells you based on the cycle of the moon what you can and can’t do for your plants. How cool is that?! You can post pics of your plants to the community and ask questions. It also scans your plants for diseases and recommends what you can do to help them. I think it cost like 40 clams? maybe forever? Whatever it costs it’s worth it. My plants are thriving, and it’s great for a scatterbrain like moi. It’s one of the few apps that I use and I feel good doing it. Now part of my morning ritual.

These are my two fav apps. One is a plant identifier and it costs 20$ a year but I use it all the time. The other recognizes bird calls and it’s free cuz it’s run by Cornell and u help them with bird data.

I love this app!! I’ve been trying to find more motivation to get outside/moving and this is a really low commitment way to do that. I love that you can have it on in the background and you’re still able to collect things. It also acts as a little diary where you can enter your general mood for the day and any pictures. I love naming all my funky dudes and planting flowers as I walk IRL!! {My friend code is 0579 2689 8445, add me! šŸ«¶šŸ»}

was walking through the MusĆ©e d’Orsay alone after a breakup, contemplating renunciation and renting a turn of the century efficiency apartment with an iron bed when i got back home, and this painting stopped me in my tracks.

i used to do this for a living and it was a job that only got attention when we made a mistake, and is taken for granted when done right. i captioned the 2018 world series game that went 18 innings, plus pre- and post-game coverage, for a total of over 8 hours on air with no breaks but commercials. now i smile when i see a bar is playing a game with the captions on. a real person is on the other end working hard to give you the best experience!
