trigger warning for me being sad . . she is very old and probably not long for this world and i left her with my mom for a bit so she wouldn't have to go on a stressful daylong train journey with me… she is my everything and she’s been with me since i was a wee child of 13, i hope she holds on until i can be back with her 💕❤️‍🩹

MY STRANGE BEAUTIFUL MOTHER

probably the most beautiful ballerina they ever made. Second pic I took on my dads film camera while my mom and I were in Michigan waiting for her dad to die last year - it was not a very easy time but it was special. She’s a pretty incredible lady and one of the best artists I know. I feel really scared and cry a lot when I think of a future she’s not in. We have a complicated relationship but I think that’s just mothers. She’s a weird lady who has never been drunk in her life And can still do a split! One time she climbed a mountain in Sandals. I brought extra sneakers in case she got tired but I think that made her more determined to do it her way. I love her A lot.
