probably the most beautiful ballerina they ever made. Second pic I took on my dads film camera while my mom and I were in Michigan waiting for her dad to die last year - it was not a very easy time but it was special. She’s a pretty incredible lady and one of the best artists I know. I feel really scared and cry a lot when I think of a future she’s not in. We have a complicated relationship but I think that’s just mothers. She’s a weird lady who has never been drunk in her life And can still do a split! One time she climbed a mountain in Sandals. I brought extra sneakers in case she got tired but I think that made her more determined to do it her way. I love her A lot.
trigger warning for me being sad . . she is very old and probably not long for this world and i left her with my mom for a bit so she wouldn't have to go on a stressful daylong train journey with me… she is my everything and she’s been with me since i was a wee child of 13, i hope she holds on until i can be back with her 💕❤️🩹
Gazpacho only in the late summer, persimmons only in the winter, etc. just because we can import anything from anywhere anytime doesn’t mean we should. Nothing is special if you can have it whenever you want it.
