imagine eating one whole egg for lunch. and sharing it with 6 other people. and everyone becomes full. and there is still some egg left. that's how big this thing is.
anyways i share our "à la coque" recipe because we're french and it was really fucking good.
- cook ostrich egg in boiling water for 35 minutes.
- open egg just like on photo (we had to use a SAW).
- add bacon, chives, salt, pepper inside the egg.
- toast some bread.
- dip bread in the thing.
- have the best egg of your life.
