listen, i’m embarrassed and ashamed to even post this. i don’t know why i wasn’t aware of this until today - why did no one tell me…why have i never noticed it until now? while looking at a band’s tour post thinking, “kansas city, MO?? that can’t be right, right?” i then continued to check google maps. it was, in fact, right.
no amount of making good grades or testing well could ever beat the fact that i am a product of the alabama education system out of me apparently. everyone needs a little humbling moment of stupidity every once in a while i suppose.

The liquor laws here are really crazy so any time you travel somewhere else it makes you look soooooo endearing when you go into a CVS and say “wow! look at all this Black Cherry White Claw! I never knew I could buy alcohol and tampons in the same credit card transaction!” And then you immediately get carded which is so flattering
