I started an art instagram a couple of months ago after much hemming and hahing. For context I grew up with a great love of art, so much so that I got a minor in art history. However I have posted once and then never again. Trying to get back on the wagon but man is it hard. Any advice from others who run more business focused accounts 🫶🏻

I don't follow one specific artist, on every social media i have, but always having some type of art media in my feed makes my day better. i love when i see music videos from 16 years ago on youtube, or the new project someone is working on on instagram.

I like art ok. and I'm addicted to my phone. so I combined the two and tried to bring more whimsy to my smartphone experience by downloading the dailyart app. everyday a new painting is presented with a small text talking about the work and the artist, and you can browse other works too! this kinda sounded sponsored... I swear it's not (I wish)

I’m not sure what it is but this app just feels like a safe space. Like I can say whatever I want (within reason) and not be judged for it! My stuff might be seen by 2 or 200 people but it’s not there to be objectified by the ever critical eye of the public consumer. I feel like everything has to perfect for Instagram and Twitter scares me…but here I can express what I want and not worry 🫶🏻

I feel like I only ever get on here to bitch and moan…oops.
I currently manage a team of 15 and as such part of my roll is turning in time sheets. I feel like it’s a constant battle with some of these people; who take advantage of OT. And maybe it’s because I’m over two decade younger than them but I feel like they just constantly push and push and push their limits.
