i too have thick layered hair i’m trying to grow out. i’ve been leaning into clips/bows/hair ties to spice things up a bit. a half up half down situation is always fun. i also have bangs, and i usually leave them down. and to your point about it flipping out at the ends, maybe lean into it. i’ve been looking at vintage hairstyles and i think you could like commit to the bit of the flip ya know? bouncy 60s mod style. just have fun with it, do something weird, who cares? as long as you feel happy about it. i used to be a single hairstyle kinda person. not anymore!
yes. im a huge advocate for bangs. All stages. Full chunky, curtain, short, grown out…. they’re all fun and they grow SO fast so if you hate them then they’ll be gone in like 2 month do it
I’m not sure what it is but this app just feels like a safe space. Like I can say whatever I want (within reason) and not be judged for it! My stuff might be seen by 2 or 200 people but it’s not there to be objectified by the ever critical eye of the public consumer. I feel like everything has to perfect for Instagram and Twitter scares me…but here I can express what I want and not worry 🫶🏻 I’m done I’ll get off my soapbox now
