i dont like gyms- they give me anxiety but i usually look up exercises that line up with my goals like do i wanna lose weight, build muscle, etc. and then make a my own routine based on the exercises i find a super under rated and actually fast way to help stay active is literally just going for a walk for about 30min every day the hard part is every day the easy part is the walking but you can also find online fitness classes im sure for free or just make a youtube work out playlist to put on and follow

i can't spend my hard earned money on a gym membership in this economy. gyms make me uncomfortable anyway, so home workout is the way to go for me. i love madfit on youtube for apartment-friendly, no equipment exercises. i'm not the most athletic person, but i'm trying to be consistent with my workout, doing it at least once a week. i've been doing the 20-min full body workout for the past month, and now gradually working my way up to 30 and then 45. also trying to get back on the more focused exercises, like abs, upper body, etc. bc i've been slacking off for a while.

go to the gym. i was kinda scared of going to the gym at first due to self-esteem, but after going for about nearly a month now its like i dont care. you might think youre being judged or you just dont fit into that type of place. i can assure you though the people there are also just trying to better themselves. they are also so nice & uplifting, no pun intended. my favorite thing to do is the treadmill & calf extensions. i highly recommend the treadmill, if you want to be simple, especially on an incline of 12-15 percent at a 3-3.2 speed. another thing i recommend is stretching; sometimes parts of our bodies go over looked in our day to day life and they tend to tighten up. stretching will make you feel much more agile!

I walked the mile all of high school which says everything it needs to about my athletic abilities, but discovering in my 20s that I don’t need to punish myself at the gym with workouts that I don’t enjoy (or are straight up too hard for my body) has been a revolution for me. I found β€œmyβ€œ routine that I do pretty much every time I’m at the gym and it allows me to read a book at the same time, study lines, etc. β€œDo what you like and what feels good” is not only a mostly good life mantra, but it perfectly applies when it comes to how you decide to move your body 😘

using A.I. for art instead of using it to fix problems such as poverty, climate change etc is fucking weird art is a way people cope with human existence and express feelings as well as share and pass down culture why tf is A.I. in the mix its weird to me

TW: drugs and psychosis i was in active addiction 4 years ago and was going on a 4 day streak of a bender where i decided to go to a party do meth (ik) and drink and smoke (more) weed i was so out of it that when i had to leave (never drive UTI) it looked like i was driving through a forest under water when i got back to my friends place her mom said their family cat (who was v old) was dying and she wanted us to say good to him when i looked at the cat it looked like it was turned inside out and its inside were rotting i felt sick to my stomach and hid in her room where i began to question everything what i had seen, what i was doing, and finally who i was and if the thoughts i had were mine or someone else's- it was a lot it was from there i kinda realized there was more and now im here sober and a changed woman the end
