i just hit target after daycare drop off but before the workday started and i feel so productive already? not as productive as i felt when i used to do early morning workouts but now we have bread and sparkling water so maybe more productive
i tend to be more productive in the mornings before my 6:30am shifts because what do you mean i’ve cleaned my car, gotten gas, made myself lunch, folded my laundry, updated my resume… all before 6am… i’m reclaiming the term adulting for stuff like this
usually i don’t have to b at work til noon and so i’d sleep until like 10 or 10:30. which made me feel like shit. now ive been hitting a nice 8:30 and working out or going for a walk or exploring before work and i feel sooo much better
Hear me out: as someone who works from home, I spent many months waking up, walking to the couch, and opening my laptop. By noon, I felt sluggish, lethargic. Starting my day with an action (ie unloading the dishwasher) helped me to feel more motivated and grounded!
i have two under two and i’ve never felt more vulnerable or in love with the world despite the calamities! i’ve never had more empathy or patience or compassion for all living things! i’m also so tired and hormonal rn so don’t make any rash decisions but so far it’s working for me ☆ ps. pregnancy and labor and delivery physically went very smoothly for me. i had freaky ppd the first time around but so far this time is just overwhelmingly wonderful?? results may vary.
