my friendās new band warren commission has their first new single out today! iāve heard the whole ep already and itās soooo good if you like: interpol, the strokes, sonic youth OR just really good bass, check them out :)
iāve reccāed them here before but they make some unique tunes. a 3 piece from kentucky with a very off-kilter, very different funky introspective sort of thing going onā¦but the guitar riffs and basslines are still familiar enough to get behind. it was really hard to chose a link, so i chose my favorite release of theirs, but you can really start with anything. i also highly recommend the single ādreamsickleā :)
This is my high school best friendsā band! They have a great EP if you like Midwest emo and just awesome music. They recorded it in my home town in New Jersey! Listen, you will not regret! I love these boys!

A friend of mine recommended this band semi-recently. Was taken aback immediately and have been listening to a bunch of their early catalogue. Hard to beat the creativity of it all, especially in contrast with the rest of the self-seriousness that seeps into the cracks of anything cool.
