I discovered Lispector one day at the used book store when I saw The Hour of the Star. I picked it up immediately and loved the design of it and how bright it was. I went home and read it in one go. It was unlike anything Iโve read before. Ever since Iโve been a huge fan of her work and would like to get through all Of her books.
Nothing annoys me more about the American culture than the lack of enthusiasm. If I invite you to go somewhere and your answer is โsureโ or โwhy notโ, Iโm taking it back. I do not wanna be surrounded by indifferent people. Itโs unworthy.
