The best $25 I spend every month. Literally pays for itself if you see one movie plus if I see a bad movie I don’t feel like I wasted money

I recently watched The Monkey for free at Chicago's Music Box Theatre β€” and even stuck around for Perkin's Q&A session. I have to say, it was the best movie-going experience I've ever had. An organist played the score with diabolical cymbals in the background β€” come on! And the movie was hilarious and equal parts gory!

Staying at the Roxy in NY (formerly the Tribeca Grand) is akin to being on an elegant cruise in Manhattan. It’s my home away from home in the city. Everything is there: from live jazz in the massive atrium lobby with the glass elevator zipping up and down and the divine food and drinks (I recommend the lobster roll and a mescal cocktail) in recessed leather booths shaped like teacups, to the gorgeous red velvet theater below - which offers the best films on screen in Manhattan - curated by the brilliant Illyse Singer. After attending a killer film and fascinating Q&A, retreat to the Django, the speakeasy next door, which stays open til 4AM and is often where the hottest underground music acts play… What else could you ask for?

I got him as a kitten in pretty poor shape. Bottle fed him. His name is Guillero but I most often call him Skuzz, short for Skuzzbutt because as a kitten he was very sick and dirty. He is my best boi.

Pretty simple and the secret is... Butternut squash. Cook down your aromatics (onions, garlic, and your favorite peppers) with a good vegan chorizo. Cut some butternut squash into cubes and boil them. When they're done mash them up like mashed potatoes. Mix your aromatics and vegan chorizo with a canned bean medley into a slow cooker with veggie broth. Then mix your mashed up butternut squash into the chili broth and it will turn the broth thick and creamy. I like to add a ton of tapatio hot sauce, too. So good.

One of the simplest pleasures in life
get some nice sourdough, some nice heirloom tomatoes, maybe make your own mayo and add some fresh herbs, add a textural element like toasted buckwheat or sunflower seeds (or bacon for the BLT route!) i think it would be easy, cute, fresh, and charmingly seasonal!
