saw this collab at the met the other week. it's not a favorite or even a single painting, but the intentional placement added so much and each work was the better for it. @ curators, we should bring back unique installations in galleries. 🤝

i remember the time that i showed my parents Election for the first time... then we watched it three times that week. (they wanted to watch it with everyone we knew.) they also recently loved Julio Torres's Problemista.

this is the one. I had always liked music, but there was something about this sound that really hooked me. it really steered me onto the path of electronic pop and shaped my taste from then on out. little me didn't know the sample then–but this ABBA sample and instrumental are still one of the best of all time. (also yes, it still bangs. that era of electronic pop... sexyback had me in a chokehold too.)
