A class example of Australian music, we make the coolest shit down here - the drones constantly implode on themselves breaking down every section into tinier pieces that grow bigger than what came before

We all know Stacy’s Mom but the rest of this album is a really solid power-pop record that I think deserves more recognition. RIP Adam Schlesinger. Fav Tracks: Mexican Wine, Hackensack, Hey Julie, Halley’s Waitress

I'm not even super into No Doubt that much, but I was listening to the local alt radio station before I move out and this brought me to tears. The mix of rage and unrequitedness... a little bit of ska flippantry... phenomenally underrated pop rock tune!

It's a great feeling getting help from somebody, it's a great feeling helping another, and it's the greatest when you and another can help each other. I love being available to people

Similar whimsical thing going on. incredibly talented vocalist and they employ oboes and a kind of folksy baroque sound with really stunning compositions however I still find them kind of similar to the Sundays' whole thing. Most of this record is fantastic but specifically Epitaph Ivy and Woe is very special.

About a woman, and a guy who visits her. They talk about a dead Jewish girl in a white dress. And then there's a boy and girl who love each other. It's autobiographical but you can't tell where the author ends and where the other begins. Feels like nothing else matters when you can yearn the way this text does.
