this stuff saved my skin!!! it is a retinoid though so it might get a little worse starting to use it before it gets any better! but it genuinely worked for me with time! i barely break out anymore! hope it helps ☺️

12 weeks before fully effective but obliterated my cystic acne. if you have less severe acne you can get adapalene 0.1% (differin gel) without a prescription. do some research first of course but this stuff changed the game for me. apply before bed every night and follow up with a moisturizer if necessary. note that some people experience a purge where their acne gets worse before it gets better because the cream works by increasing the rate of cell turnover, so whatever acne is lying latent under your top layer of skin will get pushed to the surface. if it’s not clear, i have a long history of acne problems. hmu if u need more hot tips

& go to a dermatologist for it - IME differin (otc) did not work much but i know for some it does. i use a prescription retinol which has worked super well. also when you start you must commit to SPF daily, keeping skin extra moisturized, and be mindful of what you can’t use much of anymore (like salicylic acid, toners, etc) caveat - if you have severe, deep scarring (like from cystic acne) it will not do much, ask your dermatologist for alternatives
