Took my nephew to baby cinema at my local indie cinema and it was so nice. It’s just a film screening but with the sound down and in the knowledge that everyone there will also have a baby so no side eye for baby loudness. something really therapeutic about being in a cinema with a baby snuggled into your chest.

Especially in a smaller, quieter theater. There’s nothing so peaceful and it makes me feel super independent and grounded. I don’t go to big names like AMC or Marcus normally anyway, but it’s essential to try out your local theaters as well! Mine is super cheap and has the recliners and heated seats- I don’t see why I’d go to any other theater!

I think this one is just for me because I’ve recently discovered I live in London and the cinema is nice

seeing a movie on a huge screen (as most directors intended it to be seen) and just indulging in approximately 2 hours of pure uninterrupted escapism without anyone to worry about (plus supporting your local cinema at the same time). works best with "slow" films where the scenes linger. total bliss.

I am by no means traditionally religious, but I fully understand how being in the presence of beautiful stained glass can feel like being with god. ALWAYS stop off at a church on the way if you think it might have good stained glass. The bluebells in the bottom right corner of this made me loose my breath for a moment.

I used to be envious of people who had “MySpace friends” or “tumblr friends”. Now I have PI.FYI friends. Thank you capyboppy for your lovely letter and this illustration of a capybara and a mouse with fruit on our heads, it made me weirdly emotional ❤️
