Navigating on the app for me is a bit laggy and slow. Iโll click a button and it takes a couple seconds before it registers and brings me to the desired page or completes the action.
In both the app and desktop browser mode, it feels like the experience is just a little laggy. Since there doesn't seem to be a progress ring or bar that shows it's thinking, I end up pressing links maybe 2-5 times and it flashes around when it comes to.
For me the lag occurs every time i try to open a page or a prompt eg. opening lists or drafts, opening a post, pressing back button, switching between notifications/search/profile/home, trying to reply or post anything. I guess basically doing anything haha. I also usually have to tap the like button a couple times before something happens
Response times are super slow on my phone. I have an iphone xr and I know many apps donโt cater to that, but i often have a 2-3 second delay between hitting buttons and it actually taking. with emojis/links/pictures, it jumps to 8-10 seconds. so i often hit buttons twice or more and then have to double back. the theme tab in particular is super slow, taking me 6-8 seconds before any change is registered (besides haptics). theme tab would also benefit from labels for the custom themes (i.e. background, text, accent).
love love love lentil soup. itโs so comforting and also keeps you feeling full and satisfied. iโve made minor tweaks to the recipe i linked:
- add 2 cloves of minced/pressed garlic after the onions and celery have sweat
- add 1 tsp each of turmeric powder and cumin powder
- use both the zest AND juice of the lemon
for the last few years Iโve booked off work for my birthday and treated myself to a me day. this consists of scheduling a massage or facial (truly the best), splurging on a nice lunch and dessert, and sometimes a movie!
