my loving parents half invited me to go with them to Glacier National Park and i accepted. it was awesome seeing the night sky, wildlife, and natural scenery but the best part was seeing my parents go somewhere they’ve always wanted to. Glacier was filled with people nearing death - there was a sea of white hair on all the easy trails and in the lodge lobbies. i did have to sneak into many hotels and campsites and sleep on the ground but that only added to the experience of witnessing a bunch of old people live their lives.

I’m fortunate enough to still have both my parents and am always grateful to have a place to stay when I’m in town. Their backyard is one of my favorite places in the world.
It may not be my childhood home but it still feels like home nonetheless.
