There are some good videos from Aaron Draplin You might find stuff on his website, too. probably any fundamentals of design book would do the job Brand New from Under Consideration is a website that looks at case studies of brands. A subscription is $20. I find the critiques helpful in understanding what to look for in design.

Itโ€™s honestly still such a great design resource. Especially because you can navigate through so many ideas quickly. Behance is great but itโ€™s a little less intuitive imo. It has some very specific resources like beautiful annual reports/super corporate high design stuff. Reallygoodemails.com is great for doomscrolling email designs

When i was 8 years old, I was on my middle schools "B" team basketball team and we actually got to play against the "A" team basketball team first round of the playoff tournament. I was number 8 btw. My nerd dad was actually the assistant coach that year, something he never did again btw and he didn't know a ton about basketball. I was pretty unathletic too. Anyway he devised this crazy plan for us to win by having us basically always keep part of the team full time offense and never play defense. It got is to a tie game with a few seconds left and I (having scored almost no baskets all game) shot up a 3 and made it for us to win. He picked me up and air planed me around the gym and said this is the best day ever. I will never forget that. Anyway, I'm always lucky number 8

Yeah yeah, Fortnite isn't demure, mindful, lest brat. And while I wish my life could be all Carhartt pants and Japanese denim, I ask you my friend, to get real with me for a moment and drop all thy ego. Really.. really... REAL. When it comes down to it, and you're looking for something to play but you're not sure what, Fortnite is a completely free-to-play, massive game with tons of options tailored to your interests. There's Zero Build for the more casual gamers, ranked and unranked modes for the competitive types, and a bunch of themed mini-games (though, to be honest, I find them kinda wack). It's also cross play, so anyone with a PC, switch, Xbox, or android phone can play with ya. I know it's not as cool as thrifting, or even pickleball, or smoking skinny cigs with rose petals. In fact, there's many cooler things, I happily admit. But on a Tuesday, after your soul-crushing 9-to-5, a couple rounds of Fortnite with your friends from back home feels like a warm cup of tea on a cold winter day.
