don’t set an alarm for the morning, snack when you’re hungry, take a nap if you feel like it. give yourself activities that keep you in your body (cooking? putting together a puzzle? craft time?) to slow you down a bit. but if your heart desires a binge watch, then let it be free ✨ no guilt, only rest! so glad you have this quiet time to yourself!

Seems simple but it’s important! Alone time is my favorite time. Some days are not for bettering yourself. Sometime you have to bask in the sun in the park, or rot in your bed while watching tv.

Reset days are the key to avoiding burnout as a creative. Don’t think, don’t answer your phone, eat whatever you feel like eating, take a shower in the morning and a bath at 2pm, exist in a robe all day. your creative juices will recharge and you’ll thank yourself later.
