This was my first football match and I went solo because none of my friends watch football. It was so exhilaring! A cauldron of testosterone! i don’t support Leicester or Crystal Palace but as a neutral it was truly fascinating observing this wonderful thing we call the beautiful game. something kinda old school about seeing families with their kids eating pies and singing football chants.
I’ve lived here in London twice, so when I am visiting like this week, I always try to take in a Fulham match while I’m in town (they are my team, mediocre as their history is). Tonight’s match was a crappy 0-0 draw with an Everton team that will likely be relegated by season’s end but I don’t care, Craven Cottage is a charming old grounds (oldest in London) and it just makes me happy to hang here for a night watching footy, singing goofy FFC chants and having a beer 🍺 with a mate. You don’t have to win trophies 🏆 to be worthy of love. ❤️
It turns out kicking a ball with bunch of people, is so fun. Even if it means trying to get good at it later in life, especially when you see the progress in performance, i even scored some goals! Premier league awaits
What a thrill!!!!
Went to my first Cardiff Devils game this weekend and had so much fun! After growing up with UK sport culture being predominantly rugby and football; I really enjoyed learning about the sport and being welcomed into a new fan base. Defo suggest getting to a live game at some point!!!!
Still recovering from being gagged by surprise appearances by both Ross Lynch AND Charli XCX at the Troye Sivan concert last night This is your permission babes 💖💖💖
Watched this almost a month ago and still can‘t get it out of my head The innovative cinematography The moral ambiguity and psychological themes The social commentary on mob mentality, justice, and the human condition so so good
Because you get to experience surreal things like seeing Rauw Alejandro serving cold drinks on a Monday afternoon. This was last week. in London. probably the hottest I’ve ever been (and I was born in Africa), and its not because of the heatwave and no aircon inside 😅
