A friend recommended I watch this film after I gave him an in-depth explanation of my sexual dysfunction(s). Itās directed by Michael Haneke, known best for both the German and U.S. versions of āFunny Gamesā, so you already know it's fun for the whole family. Iāve been obsessed with it ever since. I fear it has possessed me. If youāve seen it, you know more about me than I would willingly divulge even after years of friendship. I almost dressed as the protagonist for Halloween this year. In turn, Iāve become obsessed with Isabelle and sheās now one of my top five favorite actresses. Her poise and courage on screen is unmatched, not to mention raw sex appeal. She really is Mother/Maman.
There are so many reasons why this film is my absolute favorite. However, this is for all the crazy bitches. I could go on and on about how great this movie is but all I can say is, it will take you on an emotionally tolling ride. Isabelle Huppert gives such a gut-wrenching performance, truly unlike anything ive ever seen before. Itās so memorable, I can still vividly remember each scene. #FemcelsRule
there is something so deeply intimate about knowing a personās penmanship. you could know someone for years even but not know what their handwriting looks like. i had a coworker (turned friend) at my old job tell me how when she misses me she looks at the post-it with the passwords i had written for my work accounts. (sharing mine here bc in my head iām friends with everyone who comes across this post. pi.fyi community has gotten me through some tough times last year and i love learning new things through peopleās recs here!!)
it still baffles me that there are people out there who heavily rely on chatgpt, maybe even have fully replaced google, to make the decisions for them. idk which is worse using chatgpt or tiktok as a search engine bc what the actual fuck ?? š
