A cute place in LA that fills you up. Perfect to go with close friends. I’ve tried the ceviche, octopus, and clams! Matty Matheson recommends it too ☺️
Peruvian Nikkei food which is a mashbup of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine due to the Japanese population there. Incredible ceviche with super exciting flavors and nothing on the menu was over $20. Staff was super friendly too, and the chef is Peruvian himself. The last time I felt this stoked about how yummy the food was at a restaurant, I was in CDMX. Majorly recommend for anyone in the LA area.
It’s where my friends took me for the first time I spent a week in LA. I think I went back 3 times? It’s so good, such great vibes from the owner, and their agua frescas are chefs kiss.
If you love art why not go a little deeper and go to an artist talk. They usually happen on Saturdays and are so insightful. I always learn something new and leave inspired. Definitely good for introverts as sometimes I get nervous to go to big art gallery openings that usually happen the night before.
I’ve been here twice and it will be my go to art store when I need something very specific. The last time I went there I got my self a new 4*6 notebook and oil pastels. Everyone there is nice and knowledgeable.
