I loved the big one at the Met a couple years back - this show is smaller but has some gems like this Magritte painting. I didn’t know Magritte had this kind of depth Also the Pompidou is about to close in 5 years so if you’re in Paris I hope you’re seeing this post

they’re called “private viewings” but they’re not actually private most of the time. you just need to know where to look for them… they’re fun because you get to look at art and there’s usually free drinks! and they’re usually also free to enter. serve all around! went to one tn and it was wack… aria dean abattoir…

Before there was BRAT, there was SHURA. Highly recommend going down the Post-Soviet fashion rabbit hole, beginning with Shura. Plus his music is fantastic.

I'm kind of scared to recommend this place because I want to keep it my secret forever. I grew up eating Georgian food so I know a thing or two about it. Ubani in Bay Ridge is in a league of its' own. I have dreams about this place. I only have a picture of the dessert I had there on my last visit, which is traditionally Russian (napolean cake) , but take my word for it. This is the best Georgian food in NYC. It's decadent. Don't pass on the soup dumpling and walnut salad.

If this empty Macari wine bottle isn't convincing enough that you have to try this, I'm not sure what is... Reasonably priced at $21. It tastes like a summer breeze and easy drinking. Such a lovely white wine.
