A contemporary Berlin-based artist who makes sculptures and installations that focus on time and space. Kwade's works often involves pushing a material to function beyond its normal context (shattered steal, melting stone, audible neon).
I first saw her work at The Boros Collection in 2016 and immediately appreciated the level of craftsmanship and interactivity that go into each piece, despite how minimal they appear.
