gorgeous ambient electronica by egyptian kweeen Nadah El Shazly,, found this a couple of weeks ago via One Little Independent Records (same label bjork is on),, gave it a brief listen—thought it was interesting but was lowkey just browsing the roster,, then last week i was working on my alt/indie music—video series and had decided on doing an InFocus: Cairo edition, so i reached out to an artist who i follow on instagram from cairo and asked her to send me stuff from people in her scene,, she sent me sooo much good shit but she also sent nadah’s profile which was crazy because i didnt kno she was egyptian until after the fact//had to run this back n it slaps so much harder with context. fucking brilliant compositions on this through and through,, love the droney intermissions—the vocals are soo beautiful too,, good stuff
