I’ve followed Adam’s work for almost A decade now but was not familiar with his work as a stand up. Watched this over the weekend and it’s a lot of fun! If you’ve listened to his podcast or seen video of him on picket lines, it’s not surprising Adam is great at the performance of story telling and even just talking. Doubly recommend if you or someone you love has ADHD Side note - just a general recommendation for the streaming service it’s on, Dropout TV, if you’re a comedy fan!
It’s so fun. And has a high risk of being bad and uncomfortable. Which makes the highs that much more relieving and funny. Been getting really into dropout content lately…
Probably some recency bias here (and he's not for everyone/rubs some the wrong way) but if it's possible to laugh out loud about addiction and recovery, our boy John is for you.
There's a bit in here about all the standups who came to his intervention that might be one of the funniest things I've ever seen. The level of self-awareness is (chef's kiss).
I usually just make myself drip coffee or a single cup of tea during the week but I’ve got a little time so why not make a whole tea service just for me
