such a fun way to get into celebatory moods and itโ€™s so so pretty and intricate yes it hurts as hell taking it off once it dries but beauty is pain you could say and the end result is worth it also getting your henna done results in some epic convos taking place and lots of laughter and jokes

it feels so empowering to walk around wearing ethnic clothes in a โ€˜modernโ€™ city where the standard fashion is deeply influenced by the west. i will always love u, sarees <3 also, this is my mumโ€™s saree, and many sarees are heirlooms passed down in the family. itโ€™s quite literally, wearing your culture, carrying the stories of your ancestors with you! maybe this is why i like thrifted clothes lol
