Ambient alert, this album is easily my favorite ambient album since Stars of the Lids‘ finale from 2007. Beautifully soothing, sonically robust, Hopkins has such a mastery of the mix - frequency, tone, space, it’s all so perfect. I even really like the Ram Dass passage. this album is a song do not break it up into singles is my recommendation.

this album is one of my favorite ambient albums ever. I’d describe it almost as chamber ambient if that makes sense? it sounds very gothic and expansive but also at times really delicate and beautiful. sonically it kind of reminds me of those pictures from I Spy books but a little darker and maybe slightly haunted

Beautiful ambient sounds of drones, strings, pianos, and washed out guitar.
All their music has a calm quality to me, but some albums feel more gloomy and others more tranquil.

If you don’t define yourself by “what you do” then you can comfortably try (and fail usually) at everything. Do what you love until you don’t love it and then do something else. dont equate “what I do” with “with my life”. If you have a canvas and you paint something and you say wow this is garbage, just paint something different!
life’s only as serious as you make it out to be. Enjoy it and learn shit.
