they put out this awesome album they’d been working on for a while but didn’t really promo it too much because they stopped working on it at some point. but it still turned out pretty amazing. really stellar mix of genres throughout indie and electronic as they often do. i love w3bcam.

i’ve recc’ed them here before but they make some unique tunes. a 3 piece from kentucky with a very off-kilter, very different funky introspective sort of thing going on…but the guitar riffs and basslines are still familiar enough to get behind. it was really hard to chose a link, so i chose my favorite release of theirs, but you can really start with anything. i also highly recommend the single “dreamsickle” :)

wonderfully meshes together eras of indie rock/pop to create something so unique and magical, haven’t stopped thinking about it for a while
this is one of those records that gets people to get their friends together to start their own band

It's hard to overstate the obsession I had with this band's debut LP and the despair I felt after their breakup because I missed my chance to catch them in Cambridge, MA in 2011. Now all of a sudden, here they are 14 years later with a pretty great song and potentially more on the way. So much has happened in that time, and it's almost disorienting to revisit them in a completely new context. It's inspiring to see a beautiful thing come back when it seemed to be gone forever.
