1. convince yourself that certain things grant you unusually powerful concentration abilities. for example i believe i am more productive if i drink the white monster energy flavor, or if the movie halloween 3 is playing very quietly in the background. but you can't do these things very often because that spoils the trick. you have to limit it to times of need 2. try and get the doctor to prescribe you slightly more meds than you need if you take them. i don't say this for any sinister reasons it's just that i never remember to get them refilled on time and if you have extra you get a little wiggle room. 3. set the clock a random double-digit number of minutes ahead. like 26 or something. for a decent while it will keep startling you into thinking you're super late, which kicks off a frantically getting ready impulse that may enable you to leave on time even after you've realized the clock is wrong. it doesn't work for very long in my experience though.

Anytime anything small makes me happy, or brings me joy, I say to myself "today is gonna be a good day". It helps me start off my day on a positive note, and establishes the practice of hope as a daily discipline lol for example: - *leaf gets stuck on the window of our 5 story walk up* today's gonna be a good day - *sees a ladybug on the windowsill* today's gonna be a good day - *hears a fun song on the street while on a commute* today's gonna be a good day - *drinks a glass of water and it tastes good* today's gonna be a good day In my experience, it's positioned my frame of thought as "hey lets look for all the good in our day today" rather than "let me wait for something good to happen"; and that has made a world of difference when it comes to tackling some of the harder obstacles. So yea idk, give it a try and lmk how it goes <3

It's easy for me to dwell on the negative and spiral into depression, so I have to actively focus on the good/positive things I experience to rewire my brain. Whenever something nice is happening (it can be as simple as liking the homemade matcha I made), I note it in my mind (something like "this is a good thing happening to me") to remind myself in the present that good things happen to me. And with that same example, I can add on the bonus thought that I made that good thing happen.

It’s my birthday! 🥳 And there’s no better place to announce it than here—PI.FYI just feels like a big group hug, and somehow, announcing my birthday here feels safe and kinda lovely. 🫶 Another year of getting influenced by all of you (from the simple stuff to the cool stuff), and honestly, life just feels richer because of this place. 💙 Big love to @TYLER for creating the best corner of the internet!! I LOVE U AND PI.FYI 🤟✨

It’s sweet and sentimental—you’re up, ruminating and thinking just like when your taking yourself with a good walk, but with less physical activity. ++ you can reflect with a good song and hear the sound of the bus moving, in transit.
