i'm from russia, and our government here banned instagram/facebook/twitter. we still have an access with VPN but i've noticed that i've started opening this apps less often than before. instead, me and my friends started using personal channels in Telegram. it's much simpler because you see their new posts and they can see yours. these posts exist in their own spaces without mixing and it helps you to find your own voice)

I’ve been limiting Instagram for a while, there was a good 3 months where I did check it at all and now I do every couple days for a few minutes. I’m also going to do that with TikTok and if I need to get hot/wholesome/random takes I’ll just get on here.
A lot of people say they need Instagram to get their news, but for me it makes way more sense to listen to the radio, subscribe to email blasts, and just look at publications I respect now and again.

i've deleted instagram before lockdown and the only social media i've had and still have (but take constant breaks from) is twitter, though it doesn't annoy me as much since i don't follow any person i know in real life. for some reason i felt embarassed saying i don't have instagram when new people i met asked me for it but honestly it was the best decision i've ever taken. not seeing toxic people from my past on a daily basis helped me move on.

it’s the only social media app I have/use out of the big ones (twitter, tik tok, ig, facebook?) and I didn’t even notice it was gone, I was in hiding but saw more people than ever before and traveled more than before or after. Seeing people by chance I used to know from online in person made connections stronger. hard to describe the feeling but it felt so good need to do it again even though I barely use it now

Hey! There are actually a lot of platforms where you can build your site without knowing HTML/CSS. Some of them i've already tested, some just planning to do, but i will list here all of them so you can choose the one that will suit your goals better 1 β€” Framer Basically it's like figma, but for websites 2 β€” Readymag A lot of templates for different sites, but with some bugs. 3 β€” Cargo Good if like brutalist websites 4 β€” Mmm Simple tool for one page websites 5 β€” Ctrl Haven't tried yet, but they seem nice 6 β€” Webflow This one is a little harder than the previous ones, but maybe one day you would want to try something like that!
Good luck with creating your site!

i'm a designer and i only want to do things that are not boring, so i only was able to learn p5js and processing) it's basically about making pictures (maybe even simple animations/interactive things) with code. For example, i've animated these circles to move and look like a beer foam. If you want to learn things like that, you can watch p5js course from The Coding Train on Youtube, its very simple and exciting, and the teacher is so goofy and hilarious that you will fall in love with him (and with coding) immediately :) Hope this helps <3
