as a asian nerd i feel like it’s important to know that u should go there at least once because it’s all about the experience ngl
but the thing is
the more you go
the more you know about the maids there
u can pretty much establish relationships with them which is a bonus
i already met a maid who’s a emo and listens to cigarettes after sex religiously
maids=temporary friends=ease ur lonelieness
also the food there is *chefs kiss*
Didn’t know this ab myself until yesterday. I don’t get suuuper excited about food very often, which makes it more of a stand out when I rlly rave about a meal or food I ate. recently ive told my bf about 3 diff places but his sister pointed out that they all happen to be diners ..?!!! Love that for me honestly cuz consistency is hard to find .. btw the places r golden diner (tuna melt + green tea coffee cake), s&p diner (strawberry milkshake) and Thai diner (not rlly a traditional diner but everything is good lol). Anyway 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
i think everyone should have a place where they are a regular that’s not a chain. where they really know people. i’ve been going to the same diner my whole life (my grandparents started the tradition) and i took pictures with the waitresses i’ve known since i was a baby when i graduated. it’s nice to have family everywhere (and free coffee isn’t too bad either).
being home in massachusetts im surrounded by these joints. the food is always average, but that's not the point. it's about the consistency, the booths, the drip coffee, the plastic cups and ceramic mugs, the vinyl tables, the yellow paper receipt, and yes, the passable food. never had a bad conversation or experience with a loved one at a greasy spoon. also a great place to eat alone and read a newspaper like a little old chap. what you order at a diner says a lot about you
I legit cannot wait for another project from them
it’s been a year since this project dropped
their music just keeps evolving and shows their love for edm and indie music in general
i saw them live in tokyo once and as a huge fan from hong kong im really glad i saw them live too
