I legit cannot wait for another project from them
itās been a year since this project dropped
their music just keeps evolving and shows their love for edm and indie music in general
i saw them live in tokyo once and as a huge fan from hong kong im really glad i saw them live too
This is my favorite album of 2021 and there was A LOT of good music released this year IMO. Literally every song is a banger. Stallions and Dummo Loop are probs two of the best songs I have ever heard but literally all of them are good. There really hasnāt been a day thatās gone by where I havenāt listened to at least one of the tracks on this record since it was released. Iām lucky to know and call the three that make up this boyband my friends and am grateful I have gotten to experience some of the most demented (in the fun way) times of my life with them in the past few years (eZoo, holy shipwrecked in the DR, 2 weeks straight of shows without stopping, etc). For real tho, I just finished a small east coast tour with them and my other fave boy band,Ā AnamanaguchiĀ (who's albumĀ [USA]Ā (2019)Ā is also very much worth checking out) in October and the energy they brought every day and night to the van and the stage was inspiring and exciting. If u ever have the chance to see them do a live set or a DJ set I highly recommend u go. Iām a huuuge wavedash stan and u should be too!
saw them in tokyo september 2023 and i can't stop listening to their music. rock out hard š (also recommended: jamming o.p., i left before wrench played bc i was tired lol)
Iāve been into this band since 2017 & they inspired me so much back when I was in college. I was also listening to them right around when I was both getting into the concept of āmathyā music and going to my local shows in NJ for the first time. One of my most memorable shows was driving one of my newer friends to see Peaer on an autumn, Sunday night in a church recreational space, 40 minutes away on a super rainy night. The venueās parking lot was gravel and next to the churchās graveyard and there was probably 20-25 people total, including the bands. And it was so worth it, hearing Peaer live finally and seeing their musicianship in person. I have a real love for bands that are trios of drums, bass, guitar & vox, how you can hear everyone individually, but also how just 3 people can create such a wall of sound together. It was so important for me to see them live at that age, and Iām so glad I pushed myself to make the drive down there. They havenāt come out with music since 2019, an album called A Healthy Earth which I had on repeat religiously. So to have a new single from them with that same guitar tone, funky time changes but new formulas and ideas has been incredibly lovely. Iām thankful theyāre still around and continuing to create š
as a asian nerd i feel like itās important to know that u should go there at least once because itās all about the experience ngl
