ive been on a trip here for about 5 days now just touring the coasts & forests of Washington & Oregon state. trying to marvel at every little thing because this is the kind of place id always imagine in my head reading stories (series of unfortunate events) or imagining My own. as a Floridian im amazed (& jealous) that this is somehow in the same country. the chilling beauty of a foggy & rocky seaside town cannot be understated

I grew up here but somehow never spent much time in our largest park because my mom told me Iβd get shanked. turns out itβs actually a normal and beautiful place that is perfect for laying down in or walking if you like that kind of thing. Iβm not a hiker but I respect a good walk so I think I will be walking to the witch house someday soon. ran into a friend there yesterday while with other friends and it just felt very communal. good spot and you def wonβt get murdered.

if I saw nothing else on my trip but the ludicrous amounts of moss swallowing up all of the northwest coast, i would still have been satisfied

Humans have always danced. It is part of who we are, yet we have been conditioned to be self conscious, to think that we do not move our bodies good enough. Dancing is beyond judgement. Dancing is not a skill, it is our soul moving through our bodies, expressed in movement. Dancing is healing. Dancing is bodily autonomy. Dancing is FUN! Any feeling you are feeling can be moved through with dance yet even alone, you fear looking foolish. Kill the judge in your mind, shut the fuck up, and MOVE π
