one of those movies you’ll hate unless you relate to the main character. if you were never a weird twelve year old girl whose only friend was your piano teacher, it’s not for you.

it physically pains me when I think about how this movie was poorly reviewed because they didn’t understand that a movie marketed to teenage girls could be a hilarious satire on pop culture, consumerism, misogyny. 2001 critics also apparently didn’t have two ears and beating heart because the songs are incredible. criminally underrated film.

make urself a cup of coffee in the morning and sit down at the counter and drink it out of ur favorite mug, brush ur teeth for a full 3 minutes and really appreciate how clean they feel, stand in front of the mirror while u get dressed and admire ur outfit, brew a cup of herbal tea before bed and read a chapter of ur favorite book just please god slow down and realize how lovely it all is
